South Florida Business Journal: 'Tesla of yachts' makes US debut at Miami International Boat Show
Serenity Yachts expects its solar-powered yachts to make a splash during the Miami International Boat Show, which runs Feb. 13-17 at the Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin.
The Serenity 64 yacht, outfitted with quiet, fossil-fuel-free electric motors, will make their U.S. debut at the show.
"It is our goal to lead the industry in green technology while preserving the quality and comfort of the yachting experience that so many enjoy," Executive Director Boyd Taylor said.
Serenity Yachts does not list a price for the yachts on its website because they are customizable, but a 2018 Serenity 64 was listed on a yacht brokerage website for 3 million euros, or about $3.27 million.
